It's been a long time...

  I realized last night (aka 1:30 this morning), when I was drifting off to sleep that I haven't updated my blog this month. I also realized last night (and every day for the past month) that I haven't been writing at all, and it's downright annoying to be in a creative lull (the most creative I'm getting these days is words with friends on my smarty-pants phone).
I really miss my words.
  And i well know (being that this is the umpteenth time i've gone through a dry spell) that these stints happen and not to worry...they ebb and flow just like everything else in life. Writing is a roller coaster of catastrophic capacity (if that makes any sense...). What i mean by that is that when i don't write for such a long time as i've currently been void, i start to feel an overwhelming sense of uselessness.
 
  Now, of course, I know I'm far from useless, but I also know how alive I feel after I've written a new song, blog, poem, letter; text messages and email responses, though they get the job done, just don't cut it.
  So this is good. a good step. I large one right off the ground and back onto the horse.
I'm gonna go ahead and say that a new blog is the precursor to a new song, and thus the exit from this dry spell. I can feel the creative juices starting to flow.
