February Gigs 'n Such...

Thanks to all of you who got out to a show in January...can you believe that it's already February, 2011? This is insane.
BUT exciting. Time is just soaring by, and I'm just so excited about all the wonderful things around the corner.
My start to the year was a bit rocky, but eye opening. I think most of the good things in my life can be attributed to all the bizarre, unfortunate, interesting, upsetting, and woeful chances I've taken and choices I've made.
Country artists Rascal Flatts and Darius Rucker have written songs fairly recently about just that (you should check them out), with lyrics such as "God blessed the broken road that lead me straight to you" and "Every stop light i didn't make, every chance I did or I didn't take...thank God for all I've missed, 'cuz it lead me here to this"

Man, what truth.

Well THIS, for me, is February, 2011. I've got the love of a magnificent man, friends that inspire me and love me no matter what, a family that is more constant to me and beautiful than the glorious San Diego sunset, a career that is on the up and up, an album on the way and I am lucky and blessed enough to live in arguably the most gorgeous city in the world.
So hazah!

And now, for the Giggles. I hope to see you out this month. I've got new originals, new covers, new(ish) venues, and some of the old reliable places :)

(Directly following the Super Bowl...come out and celebrate a victory [or drink away your sorrows]!)

Thursday, February 10th - Beaumont's Eatery, Bird Rock @ 8:30pm
(Come for dinner [delicious] or just drinks, good company and music!)

Friday, February 11th - Offshore Tavern (NEW VENUE!), San Diego @ 7:00pm
(Great place on Morena Blvd, with some good grub and grog!)

Saturday, February 12th - Baily's, Old Town Temecula @ 6:00pm
(If you're up for the drive, this gig rocks. The crowd is awesome, the food is great, and obviously the wine is delicious!)

Wednesday, February 16th - The Tavern, Pacific Beach @ 8:00pm
(Close to home and some good drink specials :))

Sunday, February 20th - Hennessey's Tavern, Pacific Beach @ 8:00pm

Thursday, February 24th - Beaumont's Eatery, Bird Rock @ 8:30pm
